Here are the steps on how to use Midjourney:
- Sign up for Discord. You can create a free account on Discord’s website.
- Join the Midjourney Discord server. You can do this by clicking the “Join the Beta” button on the Midjourney website. This will take you to the Discord server.
- Subscribe to a Midjourney plan. There are three plans available: Free, Pro, and Pro+. The Free plan allows you to generate 10 images per day, the Pro plan allows you to generate 100 images per day, and the Pro+ plan allows you to generate unlimited images per day.
- Go to a #General or #Newbie channel. These channels are where you can generate images using the /imagine command.
- Use the /imagine command. To generate an image, type the following command in the chat:
/imagine [prompt]
where [prompt]
is a short text phrase that describes the image you want to generate. For example, to generate an image of a cat wearing a hat, you would type the following command:
/imagine cat wearing a hat
- Accept the Terms Of Service. Before you can generate an image, you will need to accept the Midjourney Terms Of Service.
- Image Generation Process. Once you have accepted the Terms Of Service, Midjourney will start generating the image. This process can take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the complexity of the image.
- Upscale or Create Variations. Once the image has been generated, you can upscale it or create variations of it by using the /upscale and /variations commands.
Here are some tips for using Midjourney:
- Be as specific as possible in your prompts. The more specific you are, the better the results will be.
- Use keywords that are relevant to the image you want to generate. For example, if you want to generate an image of a cat wearing a hat, you would use keywords such as “cat”, “hat”, “furry”, “cloth”, and “headwear”.
- Use negative keywords to exclude certain things from the image. For example, if you don’t want the cat to be wearing a red hat, you would use the negative keyword “red”.
- Experiment with different prompts to see what kind of results you can get.
