How to Use Midjourney

Here are the steps on how to use Midjourney:

  1. Sign up for Discord. You can create a free account on Discord’s website.
  2. Join the Midjourney Discord server. You can do this by clicking the “Join the Beta” button on the Midjourney website. This will take you to the Discord server.
  3. Subscribe to a Midjourney plan. There are three plans available: Free, Pro, and Pro+. The Free plan allows you to generate 10 images per day, the Pro plan allows you to generate 100 images per day, and the Pro+ plan allows you to generate unlimited images per day.
  4. Go to a #General or #Newbie channel. These channels are where you can generate images using the /imagine command.
  5. Use the /imagine command. To generate an image, type the following command in the chat:
/imagine [prompt]

where [prompt] is a short text phrase that describes the image you want to generate. For example, to generate an image of a cat wearing a hat, you would type the following command:

/imagine cat wearing a hat
  1. Accept the Terms Of Service. Before you can generate an image, you will need to accept the Midjourney Terms Of Service.
  2. Image Generation Process. Once you have accepted the Terms Of Service, Midjourney will start generating the image. This process can take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the complexity of the image.
  3. Upscale or Create Variations. Once the image has been generated, you can upscale it or create variations of it by using the /upscale and /variations commands.

Here are some tips for using Midjourney:

  • Be as specific as possible in your prompts. The more specific you are, the better the results will be.
  • Use keywords that are relevant to the image you want to generate. For example, if you want to generate an image of a cat wearing a hat, you would use keywords such as “cat”, “hat”, “furry”, “cloth”, and “headwear”.
  • Use negative keywords to exclude certain things from the image. For example, if you don’t want the cat to be wearing a red hat, you would use the negative keyword “red”.
  • Experiment with different prompts to see what kind of results you can get.
